Oscars 2024 ประกาศโผรายชื่อ 10 สาขา หนังเข้าชิงรอบสุดท้าย "Barbie" นำโด่ง
สถาบันศิลปะและวิชาการทางภาพยนตร์ (Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences) หรือ ดิ อะแคเดมี ผู้จัดงานประกาศรางวัลออสการ์ ครั้งที่ 96 (Oscars 2024) ได้ทำการประกาศเปิดเผยรายชื่อหนังที่ผ่านเข้าชิงรอบสุดท้าย ทั้ง 10 สาขา โดยเบื้องต้นพบว่า "Barbie" หนังฮิตแห่งปี มีชื่อติดโผเข้ารอบมากที่สุดในหลากหลายสาขาสำคัญ โดยเฉพาะ สาขาเพลงประกอบภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยม ที่ผ่านเข้ารอบถึง 3 เพลง
Barbie
ตามมาด้วย "Oppenheimer" ที่ก็ผ่านเข้ารอบชิงในหลายสาขาเกี่ยวกับงานสร้าง ไม่ว่าจะเป็น สาขาออกแบบเสียงยอดเยี่ยม หรือ สาขาออกแบบเทคนิคพิเศษยอดเยี่ยม ในขณะที่ "Killers of the Flower Moon" ที่อาจจะไม่ประสบความสำเร็จทางด้านรายได้อย่างเต็มที่ แต่ก็ผ่านเข้ารอบมีลุ้นออสการ์อีกหลายตัว ที่เซอร์ไพรส์สุด ๆ คงจะเป็น "Society of the Snow" หนังดรามาเอาชีวิตรอดภาษาสเปน ที่จะฉายสตรีมมิงทั่วโลกในช่วงปีใหม่นี้ ก็มีชื่อติดโผเข้ารอบอยู่หลายสาขาแบบเป็นม้ามืด

นอกจากนี้ยังมีการประกาศรายชื่อหนังเข้ารอบสุดท้ายในสาขาภาพยนตร์ต่างประเทศยอดเยี่ยมและภาพยนตร์สารคดียอดเยี่ยมออกมาด้วยเช่นกัน โดยหลังจากนี้คณะกรรมการจะดำเนินการโหวตคัดเลือกหนังเข้าชิงรอบตัดสิน 5 เรื่องสุดท้ายในแต่ละสาขา โดยจะถูกประกาศรายชื่อหนังเข้าชิงออกมาอย่างเป็นทางการในวันที่ 23 มกราคมนี้ ซึ่งงานประกาศรางวัลออสการ์ 2024 จะจัดขึ้นในวันที่ 10 มีนาคม 2024 นี้
